Tile Top Keepsake Boxes

These lovely keepsake boxes are made of quarter sawn Red Oak to show the beautiful ray flecking pattern in the wood. A decorative art tile is recessed in the angled top, and a matching image has been engraved on the inside of the lid.

Each box was finished with a golden oak stain; this was followed by a coat of linseed oil to enhance the grain. For protection, three coats of lacquer was then applied followed by a coat of Liberon paste wax.

Dimensions: 8" wide x 8" deep x 4" high
