Polymer Clay Pens

The pens in this category are made using polymer clay. Polymer clay can be formed just like regular clay, but it hardens when heated in an oven. Each design element is made from a "cane". A cane is a log of material that incorporates a design element throughout its length. Each thin slice, or cross section of the cane includes the design element, and can then be molded onto a surface. Using many slices with different design elements, one can create a beautiful and unique larger design.
