#1541 - Sweet Gum Seed Pod Fountain Pen

This is a very unique collectors item. It was made using a barrel that was crated by embedding Sweetgum seed pods in acrylic resin. The resulting blank was turned to shape on my lathe. The turned blank was subjected to a lengthy finishing process resulting is this beautiful art piece.
